Budget extends window for startups to avail tax benefit Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has proposed extending the window for startups to avail tax benefits to first seven years of existence, a move that will allow new ventures to extract full benefit of the permitted deductions. Besides, Jaitley has proposed that the Tax rate for companies with an annual turnover up to 50 crores be reduced to 25%, to strengthen MSME sector.

National Entrepreneurship Awards 2016 Presented By Home Minister Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh presented the First National Entrepreneurship awards 2016 in New Delhi on 29th January. The awards have been presented in order to recognise the entrepreneurial spirit of India’s youth and encourage more young Indians to become entrepreneurs.

NIESBUD Joins Hands with Anuna Education for eCommerce Entrepreneurship Training of Indian Clusters National Institute of Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development (NIESBUD), an autonomous body under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, has signed an MoU with Anuna Education for implementing pan-India eCommerce training for industrial/artisan clusters and village level entrepreneurs (VLE).
