Dutch ‘energy entrepreneurs’ help villages harness solar power Three Dutch ‘energy entrepreneurs’ have created 100 women entrepreneurs in about 50 villages across Bankey Bazaar in Gaya, Bihar, thereby empowering 1,500 households. Founded in 2011, the startup has built clean and sustainable energy solutions to allow villagers to generate and share energy in a simple yet effective way through “smart grids for rural India” and light up powerless villages of the country.

Ahmedabad to have India’s First ‘Translational Lab’, funded by NSDC | Gujarat-based techno-social business incubator, Aashray will be setting up the country’s first translational laboratory near Adalaj, Ahmedabad. The laboratory will have Rs 25 crore funding from National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). In the second phase, translational labs will be set up in Chennai and Warangal followed and in Bhubaneshwar and Indore during the third phase.
